If a customer or an employee asks if your business uses BPA-free thermal paper, what would you tell them?
Across the world, industries are taking a second look at the thermal imaging papers used with today’s cash registers and carbonless copy paper - the paper used today for most credit card receipts. The reason is because of bisphenol A, also known as BPA, a hormone-mimicking environmental contaminant. BPA is a polycarbonate plastic, and is found in a wide variety of consumer products, including sale receipts.
